Nesta quinta-feira (12), aconteceu o The Game Awards 2019 e os vencedores foram finalmente revelados na premiação comandada por Geoff Keighley.

Vale ressaltar que Death Stranding da Kojima Productions liderou com indicações em 9 categorias, incluindo a de Jogo do Ano. Em segundo lugar ficou Control, da Remedy Entertainment, com indicações a 8 categorias (incluindo a de Jogo do Ano também).

A competição da categoria mais aguardada, isto é, a de Jogo do Ano, também contou com Resident Evil 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate e The Outer Worlds, o que tornou o prêmio bastante acirrado.
